Co-proxamol discounts
The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee has announced that all prescriptions for co-proxamol dispensed in January will be considered automatically exempt from discount deduction, following agreement by the Department of Health.

All co-proxamol prescriptions dispensed from February will be subject to discount deduction. Meda, the only UK manufacturer of co-proxamol (now unlicensed), has confirmed that, from 1 February 2008, it is providing discounts for co-proxamol purchases to all pharmacies, the PSNC says.

Simon Colebeck
A celebration of the life of Simon Colebeck, former Numark managing director who died last year, is to be held at Walkers Stadium in Leicester, 18 April 2008, 6pm. Charity donations will collected on the night for the local oncology ward that cared for Mr Colebeck at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Those wishing to attend the event are asked to contact Amanda Haddock on 01827 841214 to reserve a place.
