Norton settles

Norton, one of several pharmaceutical companies accused of anticompetitive price fixing, has reached a settlement with the Scottish Government.

Norton has agreed to pay £2,837,500 in compensation on a full and final basis and with no admission of liability. Norton has also agreed to co-operate with the Government over continuing claims against a number of other companies accused of price fixing.
