NPA brings group together to solve pharmacy IT dilemmas

An IT supply chain forum has been formed by the National Pharmacy Association.

The forum brings together patient medication record system suppliers, broadband providers and others in the IT supply chain. The aim of the forum is to discuss IT problems in community pharmacies with those responsible for implementing IT (and the electronic prescription service in particular) and to identify potential solutions.

Meeting quarterly, its first full meeting was held in March 2008.
