Pharmacy’s new professional body should support BPSA

Support for pharmacy students should be part of the work of the new professional body for pharmacy, the branch representatives’ meeting decided in a unanimous vote.

Heena Bhakta (British Pharmaceutical Students Association) proposed that the Society “should ensure that any new professional body continues to support the BPSA in the form of an academy for British pharmaceutical students”.

Students were the future of pharmacy, she said and the new professional body needed to engage them if it was truly to reflect the profession.
