Advice to patients (18) Beclomethasone inhaler
- This inhaler helps prevent asthma attacks. It must be used regularly otherwise it will not work.
- If you have an attack of breathlessness, this inhaler will not help you. If your breathing worsens or you start wheezing you should tell a doctor straight away.
- Do not take more doses or stop using the inhaler without talking to your doctor first
- Some people get a sore throat or become hoarse after using this inhaler. Rinsing your mouth with water or cleaning your teeth after using the inhaler helps avoid this.
- Inhalers can be difficult to use. Read the instructions carefully. If you have problems I may be able to help you, or there are other types of inhaler which you may find easier to use.
