Advice to patients (3) Ibuprofen tablets
- These tablets occasionally cause mild indigestion so it is better to take them with food.
- Some people who have asthma or stomach problems should not take this medicine. Have you suffered from either of these?
- You must not take these tablets if you are allergic to aspirin or other pain killers.
- Like all medicines, this one can have some unwanted effects. If you have severe indigestion (stomach pain), difficulty breathing or a skin rash, stop taking the tablets and contact the doctor straight away.
- Some pain killers you can buy contain similar ingredients to these tablets. Make sure you ask me or the doctor before you take anything else.
