1. Loratadine is an antihistamine. It is used to treat hay fever and other
allergy symptoms (eg, itchy skin, runny nose, sneezing, eye irritation).
2. Loratadine does not usually cause drowsiness, but if you do feel drowsy you
should not drive or operate machinery.
3. Loratadine is usually taken once each day. The tablets start to act within
half to one hour and keep working for about 24 hours.
4. Side effects are rare. Tell me or your doctor if you do experience any unwanted
effects.
