AAH creates new hospital post
AAH Hospital Service has appointed a pharmacy technician,
Stephen Acres, to the newly created post of programme manager.
The new post will focus on patient-centred issues
in the UK hospital supply chain, as well as developments in hospital automation.
Mr Acres will be involved in implementing some of the recommendations
contained in the Audit Commission report on medicines management.
Mr Acres qualified as a pharmacy technician in 1981
and has had several years of experience working in the armed forces. In
1990 he was deployed to the Middle East, where he was involved in providing
