Pharmacists wanted on board

Pharmacists are among the health care staff being sought to work as volunteers on the MV Anastasis, a private hospital ship belonging to the charity, Mercy Ships.

Mercy Ships is an international charity that provides medical aid for poor countries.

Charlotte Huber, a pharmacist from Switzerland who is currently on the MV Anastasis explained that pharmacists on the ship provide advice to the medical practitioners and are responsible for the proper storage of medicines.
