Developing patient-centred servicesAn educational development programme for hospital pharmacists and technicians has been set up by the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) and the Greater Manchester Workforce Development Confederation (GMWDC). The programme supports pharmacists and technicians in developing patient-centred services. The CPPE and GMWDC will work with colleagues in the north-west and south-east of England to run half-day sessions on topics such as, electronic discharge information, patients' own drug systems, training for novel anticoagulant services, shared care for patient compliance in mental health and ward-based technicians to support clinical pharmacy. The first sessions will take place on 18 February in Gloucester and South Manchester. Further information
