Award winners

The winners of the 2003 Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists (GHP)/Baxter Healthcare Medication Delivery Award are Alison Beaney, Anne Black and Clare Dobson from the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The full results of their project, which identified the risk factors involved in the preparation of intravenous (IV) medicines and devised a formula such that an overall risk score could be calculated for any IV preparation, is to be presented as an oral communication at the GHP weekend school in 2004.
