About PJ Online
PJ Online is the official
website of The Pharmaceutical Journal. The site was launched on
September, 1999 at the British Pharmaceutical Conference in Cardiff.
It contains the full text of these journals
- The Pharmaceutical Journal
- Prescribing & Medicines Management
- Hospital Pharmacist
- Tomorrows Pharmacist
plus abstracts from the International Journal
of Pharmacy Practice (1997-2004).
The archive of the full text of The Pharmaceutical Journal available
via PJ Online dates from August 7, 1999. For queries relating to
articles published before this date, please contact the information
centre of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
The main features of the site are:
- Current contents
- the full text of each Pharmaceutical Journal is mounted on
the site by 6pm on the Thursday preceding the publication date
- Archive
search - each editorial item is fully searchable by keyword or phrase.
Searches can also be limited to certain sections of The Journal, or
by date of publication (see Help
with searching).
- News service
- items of news are added to the site by the editorial staff throughout
the week
- Noticeboard
- a list of all branch, Society and other meetings of interest to pharmacists
