Fellows of the London School of Pharmacy

Ron Irwin, Michael Aulton and Stuart Walker have been awarded Fellowships of the School of Pharmacy, University of London.

Mr Irwin, vice-chairman of the School of Pharmacy council, was awarded an honorary fellowship for “life-long services to pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry”.

Professor Aulton, who completed his doctorate of philosophy at the School in 1973 and is currently professor of pharmaceutical technology at De Montfort University was awarded a fellowship for “distinguished services to the pharmaceutical sciences and pharmaceutical education”.

Professor Walker, president and founder of the Centre for Medicines Research International and professor of pharmaceutical medicine, University of Wales, was awarded an honorary fellowship “for his contributions to an understanding of the discovery, development and regulation of medicines”.

The fellowships were celebrated at a dinner at the School of Pharmacy on 25 March.
