Charter ballot in next few days
(14 July 2004)

Members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society should receive ballot papers on the new draft Charter in the next few days. The ballot will close on 20 August and the result will be considered at the Council meeting in September. The ballot will be based on a simple majority vote.

Providing the membership votes “yes” then the next stage will be for the Council to notify the Privy Council of the changes it wishes to make to the December draft Charter. If the Privy Council is happy with the changes then the draft Charter will go forward to the Queen.
