Moss Pharmacy team finalists in QUIT award

Kirstie Hepburn, MRPharmS, area development manager for Moss Pharmacy in Ayrshire and the Easington smoking cessation team were finalists in this year’s QUIT Smoking Cessation Supporter awards.

Ms Hepburn and her team have provided a smoking cessation service at Polmont Young Offenders Institution in Falkirk for the past three years.

The awards, sponsored by Nicotinell, are aimed at pharmacists and other health professionals who have made a positive impact on local smoking cessation services.

Ms Hepburn is pictured with Craig Shaw (right), Nicotinell brand manager, and John Stapleton, television broadcaster. The winner was the Bangladeshi Tobacco Smoking Cessation project for its smoking cessation service in the East London Bangladeshi community.
