Galpharm Hayfever and Allergy Relief Syrup / Tablets

Galpharm Healthcare Ltd has asked the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to reclassify Galpharm Hayfever and Allergy Relief Syrup (cetirizine hydrochloride 1mg/1ml syrup) as a general sale list medicine. The product will be licensed for the symptomatic relief of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) and chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children over six years of age.

Consultation period: 11 September 2002 to 23 October 2002.
