Ketoconazole 2 per cent shampoo

Johnson & Johnson MSD Consumer Pharmaceuticals has asked the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to reclassify Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo (ketoconazole 2 per cent) as a general sale list medicine. Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo is currently a pharmacy medicine and is used for the prevention and treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.

Consultation period: to 1 July 2002.
