Pharmaton capsules

Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd has asked the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to reclassify Pharmaton capsules (multivitamins with minerals and ginseng extract) as a general sale list medicine. Pharmaton capsules are currently a pharmacy medicine licensed for the relief of temporary periods of states of exhaustion, tiredness, weakness and vitality deficiency and for the prevention and treatment of symptoms caused by ill-balanced or deficient nutrition.

Consultation period: 11 June 2002 to 11 July 2002.
