Medical genetics information (including gene testing, genetic counselling and pharmacogenomics) from The US Department of Energy human genome website. The site also provides links to a range of additional articles and other resources.

The US Genetic Science Learning Center website provides a simple but entertaining resource for further information on basic genetics and an introduction to topics such as stem cells, cloning, pharmacogenomics and gene therapy.

An animated tutorial on DNA, genes and heredity (“DNA from the beginning”), with mulitmedia links and background information.

The Public Health Genetics Unit website provides constantly updated news and information about advances in genetics and their impact on public health and the prevention of disease.
