Statutory Committee decisions (28 November 2001)There follows the outcome of recent inquiries heard before the Statutory Committee of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. On Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 November 2001, in the resumed inquiry into Kisor Khandubhai Solanky and Prepack Direct Ltd, of 6 Mowbray Road, New Barnet, Barnet, the committee granted an adjournment of the inquiry to Monday 18, Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 March 2002. On Thursday 22 November, in the inquiry into Gulraj Dhillon, of 68 Loampit Vale, Lewisham, London SE13, the committee found misconduct established and resolved to direct the Registrar that a period of six months is to elapse before Mr Dhillon's name shall be entered on the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. In the hearing of the application for registration of Asim Abdalla Zarroug, of 60 Kettleby House, Barrington Road, London SW9, the committee resolved to direct the Registrar that Mr Zarroug's name shall be entered on the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. On Friday 23 November, in the inquiry into Mahesh Mohanlal Patel, of 20 Endsleigh Mansions, Leigham Avenue, London SW16, the committee found the convictions proved but resolved to take no further action in the matter. In the inquiry into Amrik Singh Gahir, of 91 Drewstead Road, London SW16, the committee found the convictions proved and resolved to reprimand Mr Gahir. M. B. PAWLUCZYK (Mrs) |
