Statutory Committee decisionSet out below is the outcome of a recent inquiry heard before the Statutory Committee of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. On Monday 25, Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 February 2002, in the inquiry into Rajendra Gulubchand Shah, of 8 Bush Hill Road, Kenton, Harrow, Middlesex, the committee found misconduct established and directed the Registrar to remove Mr Shah's name from the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. Under Section 11 of the Pharmacy Act 1954, this direction is not to take effect until the expiration of a period of three months from the date on which notice of removal is given or in a case where an appeal has been brought against the direction, until the appeal is determined or withdrawn.
