Welsh Executive election

Notice is hereby given to members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain whose addresses in the Register are in Wales that the annual election for members of the Welsh Executive will be held in June.
The four retiring members are Mr E. Phillip Parry, Mr Ian Phillips, Mr Colin Ranshaw and Mrs Andrea Robinson, all of whom are eligible for re-election.
Nominations for candidates for the 2002 election are now invited, the closing date for receipt of nominations being 4pm on Wednesday 17 April. Nominations require the signature of the self-nominating nominee and one supporter. Nominees are asked to enclose with the nomination form their biographical details not exceeding 150 words and a statement indicating how they can assist the Welsh Executive to carry out its responsibilities not exceeding 100 words, as indicated on the nomination form. Nominations should be addressed to the Secretary to the Welsh Executive, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Gloucester House, 14 Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff CF10 5DP.

Note: Nomination forms have recently been mailed to members in Wales with an invitation to the annual general meeting and lecture on Wednesday 10 July. Any pharmacist whose address in the Register is in Wales and who has not received a form by Monday 8 April should contact the Society’s headquarters in Cardiff.
