Proposed Byelaw changes

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section XXVII of the Byelaws that the Council of the Society has approved proposals to alter the Byelaws as hereunder and that they intend to make such alterations after the expiry of 60 days from the date of this notice.

Section XIX

Substitute "£77" for "£185" in paragraphs 2(b), 4(d), 5(b) and 6(e)(iii).

Section XX

Paragraph 21(b) — Delete "£77" and substitute "£100"*

Paragraph 26 — Delete "£75" and substitute "£125"* Delete "£151" and substitute "£250"*.

Paragraph 27 — Delete "£47" and substitute "£125* to the Registrar not later than six weeks before the examination, or after payment of a late entry fee of £250* to the Registrar not later than four weeks before the examination".

(*or such other amounts as the Privy Council may approve)

Note Section XIX — The fee for new registrants has been reduced. This is to confirm approval which has been given by the Privy Council to the proposed change agreed by the Council in August 2001.

Section XX — The proposed changes to section XX were agreed by the Council in August 2001. The increases in examination fees reflect the cost of the examinations.
