Statutory Committee decisionsSet out below is the outcome of recent inquiries heard before the Statutory Committee of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. On Monday 14 October, in the resumed inquiry into Rabinder Thind, of 21 Walden Road, Hornchurch, Essex, the committee resolved to adjourn to Wednesday 20 November 2002. In the resumed inquiry into Neil Michael Henderson, of Flat 2, 1 The Square, Northam, Bideford, Devon, the committee, having previously found misconduct established, directed the Registrar to remove Mr Hendersons name from the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. Under Section 11 of the Pharmacy Act 1954, this direction is not to take effect until the expiration of a period of three months from the date on which notice of removal is given or in a case where an appeal has been brought against the direction, until the appeal is determined or withdrawn. In the application for restoration of Suryakant Narshibhai Patel, of 102 Raeburn Avenue, Surbiton, Surrey, the committee resolved to direct that the name of Mr Patel be restored to the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. In the application for restoration of Alistair Bell, of 54 Barbeth Way, Oakvale Park, Condorrat, Cumbernauld, Glasgow, the committee resolved to direct that the name of Mr Bell be restored to the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. On Tuesday 15 October, in the resumed inquiry into James Fitzwilliams, of 15 Mansfield Road, Lodge Moor Estate, Gunness, Scunthorpe, South Humberside, the committee, having previously found the conviction proved and the misconduct established, resolved to reprimand Mr Fitzwilliams. In the application for restoration of Mohammad Yasin Sohawon, of 27 Blandford Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire, the committee resolved to direct that the name of Mr Sohawon be restored to the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. On Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 October, in the resumed inquiry into Kirtikumar Thakorbhai Patel, of 298 Kingston Road, Ilford, Essex, the committee, having found misconduct established, resolved to reprimand Mr Patel.
