Statutory Committee decisionsSet out below is the outcome of recent inquiries heard before the Statutory Committee of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. On Monday 16 June 2003, in the inquiry into David Thomas Wilson, of 5 Dawberry Road, King's Heath, Birmingham, West Midlands, the Committee, having found the convictions proved, resolved to direct the Registrar to remove Mr Wilson's name from the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. Under Section 11 of the Pharmacy Act 1954, this direction is not to take effect until the expiration of a period of three months from the date on which notice of removal is given or in a case where an appeal has been brought against the direction, until the appeal is determined or withdrawn. On Tuesday 17 June 2003, in the inquiry into Emanuel Winer, of 41 Clissold Court, Greenway Close, Green Lanes, London N4, the Committee found that the misconduct alleged was not such as to render Mr Winer unfit to be on the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists and resolved to take no further action in the case. In the inquiry into Fahim Samri, of 70 The Mount, Upper Clapton Road, Hackney, London E5, the Committee resolved to adjourn the inquiry. On Wednesday 18 June 2003, in the inquiry into Victor Taiwo Solola, of 209 Hartley Brook Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the Committee, having found the misconduct established, resolved to reprimand Mr Solola. In the inquiry into Anthony Christopher Lawlor, of 109 Station Road, Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, the Committee, having found the misconduct established, resolved to reprimand Mr Lawlor. On Thursday 19 June 2003, in the inquiry into Frank Harvey Lawton, of 70 Woodstock Drive, Ickenham, Uxbridge, Middlesex, the Committee, having found the misconduct established, resolved to reprimand Mr Lawton.
