Statutory Committee decisionsSet out below is the outcome of recent inquiries heard before the Statutory Committee of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. On Monday 21 July 2003, in the inquiry into Adegboyega Bolarinwa Claudius Salako, of 22 Holmscroft Road, Limbury Mead, Luton, Bedfordshire, the Committee, having found the misconduct established, resolved to reprimand Mr Salako. In the inquiry into Anil Keshavlal Devshi Shah, of 17 Kelvin Crescent, Harrow, Middlesex, the Committee, having found the convictions proved, resolved to reprimand Mr Shah. On Tuesday 22 July 2003, in the resumed inquiry into Maurice Anthony Waldman, of 7 Bradfield House, Repton Park, Woodford Green, Essex, and Maurice Anthony Ltd, of 249 Ongar Road, Brentwood, Essex, the Committee, having found that the misconduct alleged was not such as to render Mr Waldman unfit to be on the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists, resolved to take no further action in the case. In the inquiry into Chandrakant Ramand Patel, of 486A Caledonian Road, London N7, the Committee, having found the convictions proved, resolved to adjourn the inquiry for six months. In the application for restoration of Vijay Kumar Bansal, of 22 Mansfield Drive, Hayes, Middlesex, the Committee resolved to direct that the name of Mr Bansal should be restored to the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists. On Wednesday 23 July 2003, in the inquiry into Ghanshyam Magenbhai Patel, of 288 Princes Road, Kingsbury, London NW9, the Committee, having found the misconduct established, resolved to reprimand Mr Patel. In the application for restoration of Paresh Samani, of 14c Esterbrooke Street, London SW1, the Committee resolved to direct that the name of Mr Samani should be restored to the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists.
