Council election

I have received the following report from Electoral Reform Services of votes cast in the recent elections of Council members and of auditors:

Election of Council members 2004

My report of voting for the above election, which closed at noon on Friday 14 May, is as follows:

Number of ballot papers distributed 46,445
Number of ballot papers returned 10,579
Number of papers found to be invalid (blank/spoilt) 27
Thus, total number of valid papers to be counted 10,552
