Statutory Committee decisions
Set out below are the outcomes of recent inquiries heard before the
Statutory Committee of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
On Monday 21 June 2004, in the resumed application for restoration to the Register
by Rajendra Gulubchand Shah, of 8 Bush Hill Road, Kenton, Harrow, Middlesex,
the committee adjourned consideration of the case for three months.
In the new inquiry into the case of Navjot Kaur Manku, of “Sukh Oham”,
Heads Nook, Brampton, Cumbria, the committee adjourned consideration of the case
for 18 months subject to certain provisions.
On Tuesday 22 June 2004, in the new inquiry into the case of Derek Michael
Evans,
of 19 Carlisle Avenue, St Albans, Hertfordshire, the committee found that Mr
Evans’s conduct amounted to such misconduct as to render him unfit to be
on the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists but before considering the sanction
the committee adjourned to give Mr Evans the opportunity to attend the hearing.
On Wednesday 23 June 2004, in the new inquiry into the case of Christopher
Charles
Chanin and Lynda Jane Chanin, both of 3 Whinmoor Close, Prenton, Merseyside,
the committee adjourned the hearing part heard.
