Monday 18 October
1. The committee will resume consideration of a complaint by the Council of the Society against a pharmacist which alleges that a failure to honour an agreement to provide locum services and informing a pharmacy manager that he was unable to work because of illness when he had arranged to work as a locum and did work at another pharmacy on the day in question, may amount to misconduct

Tuesday 19 October
2. An inquiry into a pharmacist convicted of theft

3. The committee will resume consideration of a complaint by the Council of the Society against a pharmacist which alleges that acting as a superintendent pharmacist in circumstances where the pharmacist was not sufficiently competent in the use and understanding of the English language and failure to understand the responsibilities of a superintendent pharmacist and/or those of a pharmacist providing professional services and/or to discharge them amounts to misconduct.

4. The committee will deliver fuller reasons for its decision in an inquiry into the case of a pharmacist convicted of supplying a prescription-only medicine other than in accordance with a prescription given by an appropriate practitioner, contrary to Sections 58 and 67(2) of the Medicines Act 1968.

Wednesday 20 October
5. An inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against a superintendent pharmacist and the company which employed the superintendent pharmacist which alleges that a number of failings in relation to the supply of Reductil 10mg capsules and the supply of prescription-only medicines against e-mail requests and not in accordance with a valid prescription, amounts to misconduct.

6. An inquiry into the case of a pharmacist convicted of failing to comply with the Regulations under Section 18(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 in that he failed to keep or maintain the Controlled Drug and poisons register and the record of methadone register as required by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Thursday 21 October
7. The committee will deliver its decision in an inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against two pharmacists which alleges that entering, occupying or taking possession of, or otherwise seeking to interfere with, administrative receivers’ possession of premises and/or property at the premises and interfering with any business or activity of administrative receivers may amount to misconduct.
