Wales annual general meeting

The 30th annual general meeting of members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society resident in Wales will be held at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay, on Wednesday 5 July 2006 from 7.30 to 8pm. Refreshments will be served from 6.30pm.

The annual lecture, entitled “Medical murders!” follows at 8pm. The speaker is Phil Routledge, professor of clinical pharmacology at the University of Wales College of Medicine. There will be opportunity for questions and discussion following the lecture, and before the conclusion of the evening at 9.30pm.

The Council agreed at its meeting in December 2005 that the Scottish and Welsh Executives should continue in office without further elections until the National Pharmacy Boards are established. There are therefore no Welsh Executive election results to report.
