Disciplinary Committee decisions

Set out below are the outcomes of recent cases heard before the Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain on Tuesday 17 April and Wednesday 18 April 2007.

1. On 17 April 2007, the commitee refused an application for restoration on behalf of Atul Gordhandas Kantaria. Mr Kantaria was removed from the Register in January 2004 following a direction of the Statutory Committee.

2. On 18 April 2007, the committee made an interim order under article 54 of the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Order 2007, that the registration of Samuel Edwin Ashby (registration number R6879) be suspended for 18 months. This order is subject to review within six months.
