Disciplinary Committee

The Disciplinary Committee will meet at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1, at 9.30am, on Monday 6, Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, Thursday 9 and Friday 10 August 2007 to hear the following matters:

1. The new inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against Bharat Kumar Kalyanji Suchak (registration number 68280) which alleges that: wrongly endorsing prescriptions to indicate that small pack sizes had been dispensed when, in fact, larger pack sizes had been dispensed; submitting the wrongly endorsed prescriptions to the National Health Service’s Prescription Pricing Authority for payment; receiving overpayments for items dispensed; submitting two letters during investigation the first indicating that against a prescription he supplied 10 x 50g tubes of Diprobase cream when in fact he had supplied 1 x 500g tube and the second letter indicating that against a prescription for Gaviscon liquid he supplied 5 x 100ml containers, when in fact he had supplied 1 x 500ml container, may amount to misconduct.

2. An application for restoration to the Register on behalf of Kuldip Singh Chana (previous registration number 67878).

3. The new inquiry into the case of Robert Mark Nicholson (registration number 70435) who on 26 September 2005 at Chester Crown Court was convicted of six counts of acting with intent to prejudice Her Majesty the Queen and the Public Revenue with intent to defraud Her Majesty the Queen.
