Disciplinary Committee

The Disciplinary Committee will meet at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1, at 9.30am on Monday 5, Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 November 2007 to hear the following Statutory Committee inquiries:

1. The new inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against William John Carcary (registration number 1068883) which alleges that breaches of Key Responsibility 3 of the Code of Ethics and Standards may amount to misconduct.

2. The new inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against James Asher (registration number 1078163) which alleges that the supply or offer to supply a Controlled Drug to another except when acting in his capacity as a pharmacist to a person who may lawfully have that drug in his possession (as specified in Section 4(l)(b) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and Regulations made under Section 7 of that Act); and to have a Controlled Drug in his possession except for the purpose of acting in his capacity as a pharmacist (as specified in Section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and regulations made under Section 7 of that Act), may amount to misconduct.

3. The new inquiry into Gary George Fisher (registration number 77584) who was convicted on 17 March 2006 at Bristol Crown Court on an indictment of conspiracy to supply a Class A Controlled Drug.
