Statutory Committee inquiries

The Statutory Committee will meet at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1, on Monday 19, Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 November 2007 to hear the following inquiries:

1. The committee will hear the new inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against Sirtaj Allana (registration number 72407) which alleges that a failure to operate safe dispensing procedures; a number of dispensing errors; a failure to maintain adequate patient medication records; dispensing compliance aids which were not appropriately labelled; and ignoring written and verbal advice from a Society inspector, may amount to misconduct.

2. The committee will resume the inquiry into the case of Clare Susannah Hatherley (registration number 1071510).

3. The committee will hear the new inquiry into the case of Paul Robert Crawford (registration number 92425) which alleges that a breach of paragraph A.4(b) of Part 2 of the Code of Ethics and Standards, in that Mr Crawford failed to comply with an undertaken given to the Statutory Committee, may amount to misconduct.

4. The committee will resume the inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against Shiv Kumar Sharma (registration number 90720).
