RECALL: Pregestimil infant formula powder
Mead Johnson Nutritionals has recalled Pregestimil infant formula powder
as a result of reports from France of four premature infants becoming
ill with Enterobacter sakazakii infections. The company says that their
records indicate that none of the batches sold in France were sold in
the UK, but are recalling all cans as a precautionary measure.
Recipients
of any cans of Pregestimil are asked to isolate the product and contact
Mead Johnson by fax on 0208 569 4091 to arrange product returns.
