RECALL: Hameln Pharmaceuticals sodium chloride injection

Hameln Pharmaceuticals is recalling all batches of its sodium chloride injection 0.9 per cent, 50ml and 100ml vials, following evidence that the pH of the solution may be higher than the specified limit. The product was initially distributed in Phoenix Pharma livery and later in Hameln Pharmaceuticals livery. Recipients are asked to quarantine any stock of the product and return it to their supplier for credit. Sodium chloride ampoules 2ml, 5ml and 10ml are unaffected by this recall.
