DRUG RECALL: Slozem (diltiazem hydrochloride) 300mg capsules (9 January 2006)

Merck Pharmaceuticals Ltd is recalling one lot of Slozem (diltiazem hydrochloride) 300mg capsules due to the discovery of an error in the stated active ingredient content on the product foil. Some packs incorrectly state the active content as 240mg instead of 300mg. Only the foil is affected and the error only applies to a proportion of the batch.

Recipients are requested to quarantine any remaining stock and return it to their supplier for credit.
