DRUG RECALL: Amoxicillin sugar-free suspension 125mg/5ml (23 January 2006)

Athlone Laboratories is recalling five batches of powder for reconstitution due to low assay of the active ingredient prior to product expiry. The products all bear the same PL number but are packed in different distributors’ liveries. Recipients are requested to quarantine any remaining stock and return it to their supplier for credit.

Any remaining stock should be quarantined and returned to the supplier for credit.
