Caution in use notification: Rivotril 1mg/ml ampoules (10 June 2006)

Roche has issued a caution in use notification for Rivotril (clonazepam) injection 1mg/ml ampoules because of a packaging error affecting two batches. On the back panel of the carton, under “Each active ampoule contains” the text reads “1 g/ml clonazepam”. The text should read “1mg/ml clonazepam”. The contents of the ampoules are unaffected and all other references to the strength of the medicine on the carton, ampoule labels and patient information leaflets are correct.
