RECALL: Lipitor (3 August)

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency is recalling all stocks of a further batch of Lipitor (atorvastatin; Pfizer) tablets 20mg because of the discovery of counterfeit product with the same batch number as the genuine Pfizer product in the legitimate supply chain.

This is the separate batch of Lipitor to that previously affected (PJ, 29 July, p130).
