RECALL: Boots brand blood glucose monitoring system (15 October 2007)
The displays on Boots brand blood glucose monitoring system (home
use blood glucose meters) can fail when the meters are dropped
or knocked. The meter may fail to display a reading or the date,
time or lot number details.
Users should be advised to check the display is complete before
each reading and that storing the meter in its wallet can protect
it from damage. If a meter fails to display a reading, users should
return it to where it was obtained or contact the Boots helpline.
