RECALL: Atenolol 25mg, 50mg and 100mg tablets (1 November 2007)

Chatfield Pharmaceuticals has recalled all remaining stock of 28 tablet packs of atenolol 25mg tablets (PL 2142/0038), atenolol 50mg tablets (PL 2142/0039) and atenolol 100ng tablets (PL 2142/0040) because of multiple failures of good manufacturing practice at its contract manufacturer.

Recipients are asked to quarantine any and return it to the supplier for credit.
