RECALL: Cloramphenicol 0.5 per cent eye-drops in FDC, Almus and Ivax liveries (21 November 2007)

FDC International Ltd has been directed by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to recall all remaining stock of chloramphenical 0.5 per cent eye-drops (PL 15872/0003) because of rough surfaces on the bottle dropper tip. The recall applies to product in FDC, Almus and Ivax liveries.

Recipients are asked to quarantine any and return it to the supplier for credit.
