Cancer rates

Rates of some common cancers are rising rapidly according to new research published by Cancer Research UK and the UK Association of Cancer Registries.

Over the last ten years rates of melanoma have risen by over 40 per cent, with heavy sun exposure thought to be responsible for most cases, and mouth cancer rates have increased by nearly 25 per cent.
