Sleep disturbance

Only 21 per cent of the British population get the recommended eight hours a night sleep, a new survey shows.

Of 4,000 people surveyed by Thornton & Ross (manufacturers of Crampex) 46 per cent reported getting six hours sleep per night or less, and 18 per cent reported getting less than five hours. Two thirds of those surveyed said that stress and worry kept them awake, most commonly about money, work and family issues.
