AAH fee amnesty

The surcharge issued by AAH Pharmaceuticals for low user accounts has been suspended until April 2008.

Subsequently, pharmacies ordering less than £5,000 of goods per month from AAH will not need to pay the additional fee.

James Lindsey, head of public relations, suggested the decision was taken to help relieve financial strain on community pharmacies, resulting from the direct to pharmacy distribution arrangements by some manufacurers.
