Companies who employ temporary workers should ensure they receive the same rights as full-time workers.

Law firm DWF has issued a reminder, ahead of the Christmas season when many retailers will take on temporary staff to deal with a sharp rise in workload.

Companies should ensure that all staff members receive benefits such as employment contracts and paid holidays, or they risk being taken to employment tribunal, says DWF.
