Workplace theft

More than three quarters of workers have stolen from their current or previous place of work, according to anonymous online research undertaken on behalf of private investigators Jorge Salgado-Reyes.

Of 1,476 British people surveyed, 78 per cent admitted to stealing (stationery was excluded).

Of those who said they had not stolen from work, 57 per cent said they would if they could get away with it.
