Diploma/MSc in pharmacy practice

A modular web-based course in pharmacy practice with weekly live internet based tutorials. The two year diploma course is aimed at community, hospital or primary care pharmacists and comprises 14 modules: pharmacy and the internet ande-pharmacy; pharmacy as a profession; developing a practice portfolio; introduction to evidence-based practice; responding to symptoms; models of practice; medicines management, sociology for pharmacists, health promotion, pharmacy and health policy, prescribing advice, working with GPs, health economics and research methodology. A further year’s work comprising a module on research methodology and a research project leads to the MSc.

Entry requirements
Registered pharmacist in UK or internationally practising at least one-day a week

Fees
£1,620 each year
